My children's songs have all been enthusiastically sung and performed by hundreds of children. I used to write, produce and direct shows at the schools where I taught. I had a lot of pleasure writing and teaching the songs, and it has been fun to make them available for others. They are grouped in shows, and there are also some songs for assemblies or other occasions.

I have written piano pieces for a number of years, exploring different scales and modes. They are modern classical compositions with a jazz feel. Some are blues based and are easily accessible. Others have more complex harmonies.
I developed a love for free improvisation after some years of exploring the keys. The pieces available here are all instant improvisations - nothing planned at all. 'Into the Unknown' is a series of improvisations with Adrian Newton, who sampled my playing and played it back, all live 'in the moment'.
There are also improvisations with Zaum and Cathy Stevens, a wonderful viola and violectra player.
