Songs for all Ages

These songs were all inspired by my involvement in musical groups, as a singer or pianist, or both. I wrote 'Silver-Haired Momma' to perform myself, but it would suit any woman who is staying young at heart despite increasing years. 'The Altos' Lament' was born out of my own experience of singing rather monotonous lines in four-part harmony. 'Choir Nights' celebrates the collaboration of SATB singers as they practise and prepare for concerts under the supervision of their MD.
